Carolina's Connections Home Health provides private-pay non-medical home care services. We are not affiliated with, contracted by, or operated by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Services arranged with Carolina's Connections are separate from any VA-authorized or government-funded care.

Veterans may have different daily routines, varying levels of independence, distinct family-support systems, and care needs that evolve over time. Carolina's Connections works with each private-pay client and their family to create an individualized non-medical care plan built entirely around the veteran — using services already offered by our company.
We do not apply a one-size-fits-all approach. We listen first, then build a plan that respects the veteran's preferences, preserves their dignity, and supports the people who love them.

Personal Care Assistance

Already Receiving VA or Other Healthcare Services?
Carolina's Connections private-pay non-medical services may complement care a veteran already receives from physicians, home-health clinicians, VA healthcare, hospice, therapy providers, or other care teams — when appropriate and when the veteran and family choose to arrange additional support.
Our caregivers are not clinical providers. Carolina's Connections does not replace physicians, nurses, therapists, hospice teams, or any other medical or clinical provider. Private-pay services arranged with Carolina's Connections are entirely separate from any VA-authorized or government-funded care program unless otherwise specifically established in writing.
Companion care between clinical visits
A caregiver can provide consistent daily presence and non-medical support between scheduled clinical appointments or therapy sessions.
Non-medical support during hospice
Our caregivers can provide companionship, light housekeeping, and family respite alongside a hospice team's clinical services.
Supplemental one-on-one attention
In facility or home settings, our caregivers can provide dedicated one-on-one attention that complements existing care arrangements.
Post-hospital transition support
Non-medical assistance during the return home from a hospital or rehabilitation stay, working alongside any clinical follow-up care.
Carolina's Connections Home Health does not participate in, bill, or receive payment from the VA, Medicaid, Medicare, or any government-funded care program unless specifically and separately established. All services described on this page are private-pay arrangements between Carolina's Connections and the client or their family.
