Care That Feels Like Family. Connections That Last a Lifetime.

Non-Medical Home Care

Private Pay Care, Designed Around Your Family

Simple. Flexible. Personalized.

Private pay allows individuals and families to arrange non-medical home care services directly — according to their own needs, preferences, and desired schedule — without waiting for insurance authorization or navigating complex approval processes. You choose the services. You set the schedule. We provide the care.

How It Works

Getting started is straightforward. We walk with you every step of the way.

1

Tell Us What You Need

Share your situation, your loved one's needs, and what you are hoping care will look like. There are no wrong answers — just a conversation.

2

Care Consultation

We meet with you and your family to learn more, answer your questions, and make sure we are the right fit for your loved one's needs.

3

Build Your Care Plan

Together we create a personalized care plan that reflects your loved one's routines, preferences, and the level of support that feels right.

4

Begin Care

Your matched caregiver begins providing consistent, relationship-centered care — and we stay in close communication with your family throughout.

Care Options

Every family's needs are different. These care options are designed to flex around yours.

Essential Support

Focused assistance with specific daily tasks — personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, or companionship — for families who need targeted help on a scheduled basis.

Popular

Consistent Care

Regular scheduled visits providing a reliable presence and a consistent caregiver your loved one can count on. Ideal for ongoing daily or weekly support needs.

Enhanced Support

More comprehensive daily assistance for individuals who benefit from extended time with a caregiver — covering personal care, meals, activities, companionship, and household support.

Overnight Support

Caregiver presence through the night for families who need peace of mind after dark — providing safety monitoring, comfort assistance, and support with nighttime needs.

Respite Care

Planned relief for family caregivers. Whether you need a few hours or several days, respite care gives you time to rest while your loved one remains in caring, capable hands.

Post-Hospital / Post-Operative Support

Transitional care following a hospital stay, surgery, or rehabilitation discharge — helping your loved one recover safely at home with the assistance they need during recovery.

Build Your Own Care Schedule

Care at Carolina's Connections is not one-size-fits-all. Your schedule is built around your loved one's life — not ours.

Care can range from scheduled individual visits to recurring weekly support, extended-day assistance, and overnight care. Availability is subject to company scheduling requirements and caregiver availability. We will work with you to find the arrangement that fits your family's needs.

Why Families Choose Private Pay

No Waiting for Authorization

Private pay care begins on your timeline — not an insurance company's. There are no prior authorization requirements, no benefit denials, and no delays.

You Control the Care

You choose the services, the schedule, and the level of support. Care is built around your loved one's actual needs and preferences — not a standardized benefit package.

Consistent Caregiver Relationships

We prioritize matching your loved one with a consistent caregiver they can trust and build a relationship with over time.

Flexible and Adjustable

As your loved one's needs change, your care plan can change with them. Private pay gives you the flexibility to add, reduce, or adjust services as needed.

Privacy and Dignity

Private pay care is a personal arrangement between your family and Carolina's Connections — without third-party involvement in your loved one's care decisions.

Long-Term Care Insurance

Some long-term care insurance policies may provide benefits or reimbursement for non-medical home care services, depending upon the individual policy, eligibility requirements, and benefit triggers.

If you have a long-term care insurance policy, we encourage you to review your policy documents and contact your insurance provider directly to understand your coverage, benefit amounts, and any documentation requirements.

Carolina's Connections does not guarantee insurance reimbursement and does not bill insurance carriers directly. Families are responsible for understanding their own policy terms and for any reimbursement claims submitted to their insurer.

Expanding Access to Care

Carolina's Connections currently focuses on private-pay non-medical home care. As we continue to grow, we are exploring additional payer options, including Medicaid, to help make our services accessible to more families.

Medicaid acceptance is not currently available.
